A wonderful peice of French post war folk art.... I imagine it was made as a shop advertisement or a film prop.

Constructed from a cast iron tube possibly a fire hose element, the cap is Scratch built from steel, the whole wears its first painted surface decoration.

The brass tip is engraved “Petit Modele 1510.000 carats 1948”.
