A vertebrae riding crop.

This wonderful example is constructed from vertebrae sections from the spine of a shark that are threaded over a central metal core. The pommel and ferrule are of pewter and hardwood and the decorative spacers towards the handle of the cane are of baleen. The cane is in good condition with only expected wear to the vertebrae and with no missing segments.
